PNS’s annual trip to Hot Springs…

There’s nothing like old friends and yearly traditions. While we’re all in or nearing our 30′s, many of us married with kids, we all believe in the importance of “girl time”. From Baton Rouge to Destin to good ol’ Hot Springs, I love trips away from Little Rock and, more importantly, our commitment to this friendship. I couldn’t ask for a better group of friends!!

Brayne (Brandon and Rayne) Hurley are known for being fun, outgoing, and the life of every party. So it was no surprise that their wedding reception was one of the best I’ve ever attended! It was at the top of one of the tallest buildings in downtown Baton Rouge- the Camelot Club- and everything, from the delicious food to the super fun photo booth, was done perfectly! No need to talk through the night when the pictures speak for themselves!

Happily ever after...

I landed in Baton Rouge on Thursday night and was greeted by two of the Groomsmen with a “Megan Knight” sign- which I loved!

I stayed the night with Rayne and Brandon and spent most of the day Friday helping her gather up all the last minute details for the big day. She did pretty good and only freaked out a little bit when we couldn’t find her vale… Brandon saved the day though by digging it out of his car. Then Rayne and I left to meet the rest of the Little Rock folks at our hotel downtown where we drank until time for the rehearsal dinner that evening…

That night was somewhat tame (for us at least) so we could be up and “on” for the big day on Sat. We woke up around 10 and immediately started getting ready… Fun fun PNS girl time!

The wedding was short, sweet, and beautiful. We all cried of course- but were sooo happy for our best friend. Brandon is a GREAT man and will make Rayne very, very happy…
